Ocala, FL - Slide guitarist, Iron Mike Norton, has announced his official endorsement of Magslide Magnesium slides.
Mike has already used the slides on his upcoming album, Arc Angel (due date 9/28) and will begin using Magslides exclusively on the Arc Angel Tour that launches in Memphis, next month. The slides will eventually be offered for sale to fans both at concerts and on Mike's website.
Iron Mike Norton:
I was shocked the first time I tried it. I couldn't believe how ligh it was. it was and how much it sounds like glass. Its a fantastic product and I'm very proud to be playing Magslide.
Having only officially launched last month, Magslide is the newest player in the game, with a unique selling point: they are made from Magnesium. The slides are the product of a father/son team, Tom and T.J. Carter of North Carolina.
Magnesium, the lightest structural metal on earth, 5is x lighter than brass, 75% lighter than steel and 33% lighter than glass, the MagSlide produces a rich, warm tone with great sustain and minimal string noise on acoustic or electric guitars.
